VAT - Deep Optimisation

Value-Added Tax (VAT) is an indirect system of taxation i.e. the taxation of transactions. Determining whether output VAT should be levied or if input VAT can be claimed varies depending on the nature of the transaction and whether it is purchased or sold locally or internationally.

A standard VAT procedure should include quality control on the top 5 tax invoices by the value of the supply, but if you are expanding or changing your business product lines, cross-border transactions or transaction types and would like a deeper analysis then we can assist further.

Creative CFO can analyse your transaction history to advise on VAT optimization, including but not limited instances where VAT hasn’t but can be claimed, zero-rating application, VAT recognition and change in use adjustments.

Creative CFO can help with this process and will:

  • Request completion of a VAT optimisation questionnaire to determine the main areas for review and analysis
  • Analyse the transaction history of your latest, or chosen, tax submission
  • Provide you with a report of the optimisation areas, what you can and can’t claim
  • Provide you with a roadmap of where we can assist with SARS claims and process implementation

When you check out you may select a quantity of 1 and we'll get in touch with a confirmation of what information we'll need from you to get started.
